What are symptoms, causes, and treatment of heart diseases?

Heart disease is an affliction of heart and its related problems. These days, the disease is very common in many people. Problems of heart disease can arise anywhere in the heart and its near parts that include arteries that supply blood to heart muscle, within the heart muscle, or the valves that pump blood in the heart.

Symptoms- symptom of heart disease can vary from one person to person. Some of them are chest discomfort, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, anxiousness, severe headaches, coldness, sweating, swelling in limbs, tissues, and many more. Moreover, there are different types of heart diseases that may be congenital heart disease, coronary heart disease, pericardial disease, heart muscle disease, aorta disease, heart valve disease, heart failure, and many more.

Diagnosis-Certain tests are conducted to diagnose the cause of the disease. Some of them are as follows-
  • Electrocardiography tests-the test gauze the electrical activity of the person when he/she is resting.
  • Laboratory tests- blood test is done in laboratory in which blood is extracted from the body.
Nuclear imaging, ultrasound, invasive tests, radiological imaging, are some of the other tests in which catheter is inserted into the heart's blood vessels in order to have closer examination.

Treatment- treatment of heart disease can be availed from any healthcare hospitals but it is essential to get treatment from a reputed health care center. Make sure that the doctors who will provide treatment is experienced and provide quality treatment.

Certain surgical and non-surgical procedures are performed on the human heart that may include-

Angioplasty and Stents- it is a non-surgical procedure that open up the blocked arteries in the heart. In other case, stent is another option in which stent is placed in the heart. This procedure is done during angioplasty.

Heart Bypass Surgery-this surgery treats the heart disease when coronary arteries are blocked.

Precautions-in order to stay away from heart related diseases, it is recommended by the doctors to follow healthy lifestyle and consume good diet.
